BEST ESSENTIAL OILS FOR FALL

As much as I love summer, when fall arrives I find myself in love with the beautiful leaves, the cooler days, and of course all things pumpkin!

One downside of fall is that it means winter will soon be here, and with winter comes germs and sniffles.

That’s why in the fall I become extra diligent about keeping my diffuser full with these fall essential oils to help keep the immune system in tippy top shape!

If you don’t have a diffuser yet, you can get one of my favorite ones here.

ESSENTIAL OILS FOR BOOSTING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

Diffusing essential oils into the air has many benefits. As you inhale the small particles, they immediately go to work supporting your body and boosting the immune system.

Funny enough, some of the best immune-boosting essential oils also happen to be the ones that smell like fall and Christmas time. Perhaps our ancestors knew this and is why they traditionally used these scents during this time of year, and why we now associate these smells with the fall and winter holiday season.

Here are the best fall essential oils:

I love wild orange! It’s one of my favorite essential oils and I use it all the time! It is wonderful for cleaning and contains many cleansing properties. Wild orange can support a healthy immune response, clearing breathing and is uplifting when you’re feeling down.

Wild orange pairs well with the spicy aromas of the fall season and sweetens up any blend. Diffuse it to give you a burst of energy and positivity.

CINNAMON

Cinnamon is essential for the fall! This essential oil is extracted from the bark of a tropical tree. It’s beautiful and spicy fragrance will gear you up for the holiday season. Cinnamon oil has so many beneficial compounds and immune boosting properties.

Diffuse cinnamon at your next fall party for its aromatic benefits and holiday scent.

CLOVE

Like cinnamon, clove has wonderful immune boosting properties. Clove essential oil makes the perfect addition to any fall diffuser blend because of its spicy fall scent.

CARDOMON

Cardamom is another classic fall scent and is also known for its ability to ease the digestive system, and support healthy respiratory function while calming the nervous system.

GINGER

Ever had a cup of ginger tea for an upset tummy? Ginger has been used for natural remedies for many years, mainly for digestive discomfort.

Ginger essential oil also boosts the immune system, calms the nervous system, and promotes a healthy respiratory system.
