Hi! I’m Gessell. I keep all of my recipes gluten-free and refined sugar-free, and many of them are also raw, vegan, and Paleo-friendly.

I grew up in a big, messy, loving family with parents that were passionate about healthy living. My Dad is an MD with a passion for alternative health, and my Mom was a passionate cook and caretaker, who went to no ends to provide the best healthy food for us kids. Kale was a staple in our house way before it was cool! Because of that, natural health, cooking (and eating!) whole foods has been a way of life for me since before I can remember. Basically, I know more about natural and alternative health than any normal person has any business knowing!

When I started my own family, I naturally started to feed them the foods I grew up on, and other mama’s started asking me for advice on how to feed their family’s healthy meals. After a while, I started to realize that by sharing some of the knowledge my Mom (and Dad!) instilled in me, I could help other family’s learn to eat the healthy, delicious food we all deserve!
